The problem

Showing up blind is expensive

The B2B exhibition segment is expected to surpass $25 billion1, and US shows like CES, SXSW and NRF’s Big Show draw over 2.5 million business attendees a year2. Most sales teams still meet those people with a badge scanner and a guess.

Arriving at a $50K event with no prep

  1. You scramble to spot targets on the floor
  2. Booth time goes to wrong-fit visitors
  3. Key prospects walk past without a conversation

Days of manual research per event

  1. Reps copy-paste names into LinkedIn one by one
  2. The team is drained before the doors open
  3. Selling time turns into data entry

Event app data that’s shallow and locked

  1. You can’t filter, export or act on it
  2. Outreach stays generic and gets ignored
  3. Competitors with better intel win the meetings

No CRM-ready data after the event

  1. Business cards pile up and follow-ups slip
  2. Hot leads go cold within days
  3. The budget gets harder to justify

Connection limits in the event app

  1. You can’t reach everyone at a large event
  2. You prioritise blind, without context
  3. High-value targets go uncontacted

Incomplete or outdated profiles

  1. Wrong titles, missing companies, old roles
  2. Outreach reaches the wrong person or level
  3. The conversation starts on the back foot, or never starts
  1. 1. Arizton, B2B exhibition market outlook.
  2. 2. Market Data Forecast, US events market.

How it works

Send the event. Get back a list your team can work.

No software to learn and no seats to buy. You name the event, and a finished list comes back.

  1. Step 1

    Send the event

Share the event website or tell me which event app it runs on.

  2. Step 2

    Collect the room

Attendees, exhibitors and speakers are pulled into one list.

  3. Step 3

    Enrich every profile

Titles, company details, LinkedIn and work emails are added and checked.

  4. Step 4

    Import and start booking

You get a clean file ready for HubSpot, Salesforce or any CRM.

FAQ

Questions sales teams ask first

Which events can you get attendee lists from?

Most events that publish attendees, exhibitors or speakers on their website or inside an event app. Send the event and I’ll confirm what’s available before any work starts.

What does each profile include?

Name, job title, company, company size, industry and LinkedIn profile, plus a work email where one can be found. If you need other fields, list them in your request.

How early should I send the event?

As early as you can. Lists grow as registration fills up, and sending the event early leaves your team more time for outreach before the doors open.

What format is the data delivered in?

A clean CSV or Excel file with one row per person, laid out to import straight into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or any other CRM.

How is this different from the event app or a bought lead list?

Event apps show thin profiles you can’t filter or export, and they cap how many people you can contact. Bought lead lists aren’t tied to who is actually attending. Prospector gives you the real list for your event, enriched and ready to use.

Can you track the same people across several events?

Yes. If you attend several events a year, the lists can be merged so you can see which buyers appear at more than one show and follow up with that context.

Can I see a sample before committing?

Yes. Send the event and you’ll get a sample of enriched profiles back, so you can judge the data before deciding.

Who is behind Prospector?

Prospector is run by Ilyas Kerbal, a freelance web and data scraping specialist. You work with me directly, from the first message to delivery.

  • “I’ve run multiple projects with Prospector and they always over-deliver. We pull attendee data from [event apps] on a regular basis now, and we’ve built a process that just works. Highly recommend.”

  • “Great job. Before starting, Ilyas went through exactly which [event platform] he’d pull from and what fields I’d get, then kept checking that the list matched what I needed. It was done very quickly. He also added [company details] I hadn’t asked for, and those ended up being the most useful part of the file.”

  • “I can’t say enough about Prospector’s work. I needed lead data from [an event app] that no one else had been able to extract, and they solved it with real expertise. They understood the problem fast and kept going until it worked. That’s what sets them apart.”

  • “Prospector delivered the [attendee list] I asked for, plus extra [contact data] beyond the agreed scope. Communication was excellent. Next time I need event leads, I know where to go.”

  • “A true professional and a pleasure to work with. Prospector built [an automation that pulls new registrants into our CRM], something no one else had figured out. Fast, careful, and they still over-delivered. 5/5, highly recommend.”
