CIMT 2027 Beijing: China Machine Tool Show Guide and Leads

The China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) is China’s largest machine tool exhibition and one of the “big four” worldwide, alongside EMO, IMTS and JIMTOF. Launched in 1989 by the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association (CMTBA), it typically hosts more than 1,800 exhibitors and well over 100,000 visitors. The next edition runs from 19 to 24 April 2027 in Beijing. If manufacturers are your market, the CIMT attendee list gives you access to the largest manufacturing base in the world.

What is CIMT?

CIMT is where Chinese and international machine tool brands compete for the world’s biggest manufacturing market. It covers:

  • Metal-cutting and metal-forming machine tools
  • CNC systems and controls

Venue and cycle

CIMT is held every odd year at the China International Exhibition Center (new venue) on Yuxiang Road, Shunyi District, near Beijing Capital Airport. In even years, the same organiser runs CCMT in Shanghai, so between them you can cover China every year.

Registration

Trade visitors pre-register online at cimtshow.com. A third-party ticketing partner lists a full-period ticket at about RMB 30. It’s B2B only with real-name entry.

Digital tools

Registration and exhibitor search run through cimtshow.com and CMTBA’s WeChat account; no dedicated app was found. With most information in Chinese and nearly 2,000 exhibitors, building a proper target list of manufacturers and distributors, with names and roles, is a serious research project.
