DSEI (Defence and Security Equipment International) is a world-leading defence and security event, held at ExCeL London every odd year. The 2025 edition set records with around 1,700 exhibitors from 62 countries, about 60,000 visitors and roughly 170 official delegations. DSEI 2027 runs from 7 to 10 September 2027, Tuesday to Friday.

With European defence budgets rising and strong UK government backing, DSEI is a key meeting point between primes, SMEs and government procurement.

The DSEI app

DSEI provides an official app with the exhibitor list, programme and meeting tools. Good on site, but it has no export and doesn’t show which procurement teams are attending.

How to prospect DSEI

  1. Segment exhibitors by domain: land, naval, air, space, cyber.
  2. Map primes and their supply chains, especially UK and NATO suppliers.
  3. Identify business-development and supply-chain contacts.
  4. Check export-control rules for international outreach.
  5. Pair DSEI with Eurosatory in even years for continuity.
