ELECRAMA 2027: Dates, Visitors and Exhibitor Lead Guide

ELECRAMA bills itself as the world’s largest showcase of the electrical and power equipment industry, and India’s grid and renewables build-out gives it real weight. The 17th edition takes place in February 2027 in Greater Noida, with more than 1,000 exhibitors and around 250,000 visitors. If you sell to utilities, EPCs or electrical manufacturers, the ELECRAMA attendee list deserves a place in your 2027 plan.

What is ELECRAMA?

ELECRAMA is organised every two years by IEEMA, the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association. It covers the full power chain:

  • Transformers, switchgear and protection
  • Cables, wires and conductors
  • Transmission and distribution, smart grid and metering
  • Renewables integration and energy storage
  • Motors, drives and industrial electricals
  • EV charging and e-mobility infrastructure
  • Lighting and building electricals

It’s also India’s main platform for utilities, EPCs and global buyers to meet Indian manufacturers, with organised buyer–seller meets and a conference programme on sustainability, digitisation and the energy transition.

When and where

The 17th ELECRAMA runs from 20 to 24 February 2027 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, about 45 km from Delhi airport. Visitor hours are 10:00 to 18:00.

Recent editions have been at India Expo Mart, but the show has moved in the past between Mumbai (Bombay Exhibition Centre), Bengaluru and Delhi NCR. Traffic between Delhi and Greater Noida is heavy, so stay close to the venue if you can.

Registration

Business visitors register online at elecrama.com using “Register Now”. IEEMA hadn’t published a visitor fee for 2027 at the time of writing. International buyers can apply to be hosted through IEEMA’s buyer programmes.

The ELECRAMA app

An official ELECRAMA app is available on Google Play for the agenda, exhibitor search and networking. It’s helpful for scheduling the pre-fixed meetings. For prospecting beyond the buyer programme, though, you need the exhibitor and visitor data outside the app: sorted by product category, enriched with roles and company size, and ready for your CRM.

How to prepare

  1. Apply for the buyer–seller programme if you’re an international buyer; it’s the fastest route to pre-fixed meetings.
  2. If you’re selling, split targets into utilities, EPCs and distributors. They buy differently.
  3. Book meetings in January. With 25,000+ planned meetings, calendars fill early.
  4. Stay near Greater Noida to avoid losing hours to traffic.
  5. Bring technical datasheets and certifications relevant to Indian utilities.
  6. Follow up after the show. Utility procurement cycles are long, so log every contact properly.
