ESCMID Global, formerly ECCMID, is the world’s leading congress on infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. It rotates between European cities: Munich hosted in 2026, and the 2027 edition takes place in Stockholm in April 2027, over five congress days. Around 16,000+ participants attend (estimate).

It is a key event for diagnostics companies (molecular, rapid tests, lab automation), anti-infective pharma and vaccine makers.
