EXCON Bengaluru Guide: Construction Equipment Show and Leads

EXCON, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is South Asia’s largest construction equipment and technology exhibition. The 13th edition in December 2025 covered 3.5 million sq ft with more than 1,250 exhibitors (134 international, from 20 countries), seven international pavilions, 300+ product launches and about 120,000 business visitors. The next EXCON is in December 2027. With India’s infrastructure boom, the EXCON attendee list is a valuable one for equipment makers, component suppliers and construction tech firms.

What is EXCON?

The 2025 theme was “Building India’s Tomorrow”, with a focus on AI, IoT, automation, electric and hybrid equipment and low-emission construction for programmes like Bharatmala, high-speed rail, smart cities and PM Gati Shakti. Product areas:

Venue and cycle

EXCON is held every two years, in odd years, at BIEC on Tumkur Road, Bengaluru. In alternate years, bauma CONEXPO INDIA runs in Greater Noida, so between them there’s a major Indian construction equipment show every year. BIEC is on the city’s outskirts, and December crowds are heavy.
