Furniture China (the China International Furniture Expo) is one of China’s two giant furniture fairs, alongside CIFF. Together with Maison Shanghai, the 2026 edition covered 350,000 m² with more than 3,200 brands from 25 countries and over 200,000 expected professional visitors. It’s export-oriented, design-aware and easier for international travellers than Guangzhou. For furniture brands, importers and component suppliers, the Furniture China attendee list is a strong starting point for the year.

This guide is for buyers and sellers planning the September 2027 edition.

Planning to exhibit at Furniture China? Registration

Pre-registration is free for trade visitors. In 2026 the deadline was 6 September at 22:00 Beijing time. There’s an Overseas Buyer Lounge and buyer services on site.

Apps and planning tools

The DTS FurnitureChina App handles registration for networking events such as DTS × Happy Hour, and the website offers a visitor planning page and a separate Maison Shanghai registration. Good for events, not for prospecting: you still need a list of the right exhibitors and buyers with names and roles if you want booked meetings rather than chance encounters.

Pros and cons

Pros Cons
Strong export focus and buyer services Split across two venues
Free entry Overlaps with CIFF Shanghai in the same month
Design-led content via Maison Shanghai Very large; needs category planning
FMC covers the supply chain Price-led competition among exhibitors
Shanghai is easy for international travellers Pudong hotels fill up

The weeks before Furniture China are when meetings get booked. With the enriched attendee list in hand early, your team can start outreach while others are still printing brochures. Request your Furniture China list

Preparing for Furniture China

  1. Split your time by venue: SNIEC for manufacturing and FMC, SWEECC for design.
  2. Pick categories (outdoor, dining, upholstery, commercial) and shortlist suppliers.
  3. Use the Overseas Buyer Lounge for meeting space and support.
  4. Check CIFF Shanghai dates if your buyers might attend both.
  5. Book meetings three weeks out with your top targets.
  6. Follow up with clear specs and order volumes.

FAQ

When is Furniture China?

Every September in Shanghai. In 2026, Furniture China ran 8–11 September and Maison Shanghai 7–10 September.

Is Furniture China free?

Yes, for pre-registered trade visitors.

What’s the difference between Furniture China and CIFF?

They are separate fairs with different organisers. Furniture China is in Shanghai in September; CIFF’s main edition is in Guangzhou in March, with a CIFF Shanghai edition in September.

Can I get the Furniture China exhibitor list?

The website lists exhibitors but doesn’t give enriched contacts. I can build a CRM-ready list for you.

Turn Furniture China into booked meetings

Most teams arrive at a show like Furniture China with a booth, a brochure and no plan for who they actually need to meet. I’m Ilyas, and through Prospector I build enriched attendee, exhibitor and speaker lists for B2B sales teams: job titles, companies, company size, industry, LinkedIn profiles and work emails where available, delivered as a CSV or Excel file that imports straight into HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. Tell me which event you’re going to and who you sell to, and I’ll take it from there.
