Posidonia is the world’s most prestigious shipping exhibition. It runs in even years at the Metropolitan Expo next to Athens International Airport. The 2026 edition, held from 1 to 5 June, sold out 50,000 m² of space and attracted exhibitors and visitors from 140 countries, with around 2,000 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors (estimate). The next edition is in June 2028.

Posidonia centres on the Greek shipowning community, which controls one of the world’s largest merchant fleets. For yards, equipment makers, class societies, banks and service providers, it’s the place to meet Greek owners.
