ADIPEC is the world’s largest energy event. Hosted by ADNOC in Abu Dhabi, it reports more than 239,000 exhibition attendees, over 2,250 exhibiting companies, 54 national and international oil companies, 30 country pavilions and 1,800+ speakers. The 2026 edition takes place from 2 to 5 November at ADNEC. If you sell into oil, gas or the energy transition, the ADIPEC attendee list puts NOC buyers, EPCs and service companies in front of you in one file.

What is ADIPEC?

The full name is the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference. It’s rooted in oil and gas but now covers the whole energy system:

  • Upstream exploration and production
  • Midstream, LNG, gas processing, downstream and refining
  • Oilfield services and engineering
  • Hydrogen, CCUS and decarbonisation
  • Digital, AI and automation for energy
  • Maritime and logistics for energy
  • Energy finance and investment

The conference side is huge: 380+ sessions across 13 programmes. For national oil companies and their supply chains, it’s one of the main dealmaking weeks of the year.

Venue and dates

ADIPEC is held every year at the ADNEC Centre on Khaleej Al Arabi Street in Abu Dhabi. The 2026 dates are 2 to 5 November. Hotels in Abu Dhabi get expensive during show week, so book early.

Who attends ADIPEC

Attendee What they’re buying or doing Who should target them
NOC and IOC executives and engineers (ADNOC, Aramco, Shell, BP, TotalEnergies) Technology, services, partnerships Oilfield services, tech and equipment vendors
EPC contractors and oilfield service companies Subcontractors, equipment, software Equipment makers, engineering software firms
Procurement and supply chain managers Vendor qualification Suppliers seeking ADNOC and NOC approval
Energy ministers, regulators and policymakers Policy, investment Consultancies, investment agencies
Investors and bankers Deal flow Project developers, energy tech startups
Technology vendors (AI, digital, automation) Enterprise customers and partners Integrators, cloud and data providers

The strong ADNOC procurement presence is one reason suppliers come back every year.

The ADIPEC app

ADIPEC publishes an official mobile app close to the event for the agenda, floor plans and networking. It’s well organised. The catch is timing and format: the app usually arrives late, and it’s built for browsing and messaging inside the platform, not for exporting a target list to your CRM. Because meetings at ADIPEC really have to be pre-booked, you need your list weeks before the app goes live.

Pros and cons

Pros Cons
Senior, high-budget energy decision-makers Paid passes that rise on show days
Huge exhibitor base for prospecting Expensive Abu Dhabi hotels
Massive conference programme and media profile Oil and gas focus can overshadow transition topics
Strong ADNOC procurement presence Meetings must be pre-booked
Well-organised venue and app No under-18s, strict security

The app won’t let you export. I can help. If you need ADIPEC participant data in a spreadsheet instead of a locked app, tell me which segments you care about and I’ll build the file. Get the ADIPEC data

How to prepare for ADIPEC

  1. Buy your pass early at US$60 instead of US$120.
  2. Segment by buyer type: NOCs, EPCs and service companies need different messages.
  3. Start outreach in early October. Executives’ calendars fill a month ahead.
  4. Use the conference agenda to find speakers in your niche and request short meetings.
  5. Prepare vendor registration details if you want to work with ADNOC or other NOCs.
  6. Log every conversation in your CRM daily. Energy sales cycles are long, so notes matter.

Order your ADIPEC attendee and exhibitor list

Most teams arrive at a show like ADIPEC with a booth, a brochure and no plan for who they actually need to meet. I’m Ilyas, and through Prospector I build enriched attendee, exhibitor and speaker lists for B2B sales teams: job titles, companies, company size, industry, LinkedIn profiles and work emails where available, delivered as a CSV or Excel file that imports straight into HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. Tell me which event you’re going to and who you sell to, and I’ll take it from there.
