Automotive World 2027 Tokyo: Auto Tech Show Guide and Leads
By Ilyas Kerbal,

AUTOMOTIVE WORLD is Japan’s largest exhibition dedicated to automotive technology. Organised by RX Japan, it groups several specialised shows under one roof, with a conference featuring keynotes from Toyota, Honda, Nissan and global suppliers. Visitors are mainly R&D, design and procurement engineers from Japanese OEMs and tier-1 suppliers, which makes it a key event for any supplier trying to get into Japan’s automotive supply chain. The Tokyo flagship moves to 17–19 February 2027. The Automotive World attendee list is a targeted engineering audience you’d struggle to reach any other way.

Registration
Visitors pre-register online for a free entry badge; the form opens about four months before the show. RX Japan shows charge admission to visitors without registration, so confirm on automotiveworld.jp. Conference sessions are registered separately, and some are paid.
Meeting tools and data
Registration, exhibitor search and meeting requests run through automotiveworld.jp, and RX Japan has an efficient meeting culture. Even so, Japanese OEM engineers are hard to reach cold. Knowing which departments and people from Toyota, Honda, Nissan and the tier-1s are likely to attend, and preparing tailored outreach, makes a big difference.

Event apps are built for browsing, not for sales teams. They cap connections, hide data behind logins and rarely let you export anything. I pull attendee, exhibitor and speaker data from the app and the event website, enrich every profile and hand you a clean file before the doors open, so your reps can book meetings in advance and follow up properly afterwards.
