China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Nanning: Guide and Attendee Leads
By Ilyas Kerbal,

The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is the main state-level platform for trade and investment between China and the ten ASEAN countries. It’s co-sponsored by China’s Ministry of Commerce, the trade ministries of all ten ASEAN member states and the ASEAN Secretariat, and organised by the Guangxi government. It runs alongside the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit. For companies working on China–Southeast Asia trade, the CAEXPO attendee list connects importers, exporters, officials and investors from both sides.

What is the China-ASEAN Expo?
Exhibits cover both directions of trade:
- ASEAN food, beverages and agricultural products
- Consumer goods, health and beauty, home décor
- Machinery and industrial goods
- New energy and EVs
- Digital economy and services
- Investment promotion and industrial parks
National and provincial pavilions and investment promotion zones fill the halls. Each edition names a different ASEAN “Country of Honour”, which brings a focused delegation.

Venue and dates
CAEXPO has been held every September since 2004 at the Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi. The 23rd edition ran from 17 to 21 September 2026, and the next is expected in September 2027. Nanning is a secondary city with fewer international flights, so plan connections early.

Registration
Professional visitors and buyers register through caexpo.org. ASEAN exhibitors usually apply through their national trade promotion agencies, such as Thailand’s DITP. No standard visitor fee is published.
Online platform
Registration and exhibitor information are on caexpo.org, which also offers online exhibition and matchmaking between editions. It’s a useful directory, but it won’t give you the decision-makers at importers, park developers or logistics firms in a usable file. For cross-border service companies in particular, that’s the list that matters.

Turn China-ASEAN Expo into booked meetings
Event apps are built for browsing, not for sales teams. They cap connections, hide data behind logins and rarely let you export anything. I pull attendee, exhibitor and speaker data from the app and the event website, enrich every profile and hand you a clean file before the doors open, so your reps can book meetings in advance and follow up properly afterwards.
