electronica and productronica China: Shanghai Show Guide

electronica China and productronica China are the Asian editions of Messe München’s Munich flagships, held together every March in Shanghai. electronica covers components, systems and applications; productronica covers electronics manufacturing. productronica China alone reported 1,101 exhibitors and 72,417 visitors in 2025, and the combined event draws around 100,000 visitors. Since it runs the same week as SEMICON China, it’s one trip, three shows. The electronica China attendee list is a strong way into Asia’s electronics design and manufacturing community.

Both shows are held each March at SNIEC in Pudong, Shanghai, the same week as SEMICON China. The 2026 edition ran 25–27 March. Hotel prices spike that week, so book early.

The shows are trade-only. Visitors register online in advance, and free pre-registration is standard for Messe München China shows (check electronica-china.com). Conference programmes may be ticketed separately.
