IFAT Munich is the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw-materials management. It runs in even years at Messe München, and the next edition takes place from 29 May to 1 June 2028. Recent editions drew around 140,000 visitors and more than 3,000 exhibitors.

Much of IFAT’s buying power sits with municipalities and utilities. For vendors, that means large contracts and long sales cycles, both of which reward early, well-targeted outreach.
