MODEX 2028 Guide: Atlanta and New Las Vegas Edition

MODEX 2028 returns to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from 3 to 5 April 2028. MHI is also launching a second edition, MODEX West, at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 18 to 20 October 2028, so there will be two chances to meet supply chain buyers that year.
The 2026 show set records: 50,000 registered visitors from 132 countries, 1,057 exhibitors and 189 education sessions. This guide covers what to expect from both 2028 editions and how vendors can plan ahead.

About MODEX
MODEX is the sister show of ProMat and covers the same space: warehouse automation, robotics, material-handling equipment, supply-chain software and logistics services. The 2026 edition set records for attendance and international participation, with 189 education sessions.
From 2028 MHI adds MODEX West in Las Vegas in October, so there will be two MODEX events in even years.

What MODEX means for B2B sellers
MODEX attracts the same profile as ProMat: supply chain executives, warehouse and DC managers, engineers and integrators looking at automation, software and material handling. The record 2026 numbers show that demand for automation is still growing.

Event app and digital platform
MHI publishes an official MODEX app before each show (exhibitors, sessions, maps).
The official app is good for finding a booth or a session. It is much less useful for prospecting: data is thin, you can’t export it, and messaging limits stop you from reaching more than a handful of people a day.
