Web Summit is one of the world’s largest tech conferences. More than 70,000 attendees, about 2,500 startups and around 1,000 investors gather in Lisbon each November (estimate). The 2026 edition runs from 9 to 12 November 2026 at the MEO Arena and FIL in Parque das Nações.
For B2B tech companies, Web Summit is a huge pool of founders, investors, enterprise executives and partners. It is also full of students and early-stage startups, so lead quality depends entirely on who you target.

What happens at Web Summit
Four days of talks, startup exhibition areas (ALPHA and BETA programmes), investor meetings and the famous Night Summit. Topics include:
- AI, SaaS and enterprise software
- Fintech and crypto
- Marketing, media and the creator economy
- Climate tech, mobility and health tech
- The startup ecosystem and venture capital
Where it takes place
The MEO Arena hosts the main stage and the FIL halls host the expo in Parque das Nações, Lisbon. Web Summit has been in Lisbon since 2016 with a contract to 2028. Separate events run in Vancouver, Rio de Janeiro and Qatar. Lisbon is affordable compared with other European tech capitals.

Tickets
Regular prices range from about €895 (General) to €2,450 (Executive). Early-bird discounts are heavy and promo codes are frequent. Startups exhibit through paid ALPHA and BETA packages, and women in tech often get discounted tickets.
The Web Summit app
The Web Summit app handles attendee search, messaging, meeting scheduling, the schedule and venue maps. It is one of the better networking apps, but in-app messages are easy to ignore, and enterprise buyers are hard to pin down. You also can’t export the attendee data for proper outreach.
How to prospect Web Summit
- Start with partners and speakers. They show which enterprises and investors will be there.
- Filter the startup list by stage and sector if you sell to startups.
- Identify enterprise innovation and partnership leads and contact them by email and LinkedIn, not only in the app.
- Use side events and Night Summit for informal follow-ups.
- Qualify hard. Many attendees are students or very early-stage founders.
