ECR 2027 Vienna: European Congress of Radiology Guide & List
By Ilyas Kerbal,

The European Congress of Radiology (ECR) is one of the world’s largest radiology meetings. It takes place every spring at the Austria Center Vienna, and ECR 2027 runs from 3 to 7 March 2027. Around 20,000 participants and 300 exhibitors attend (estimate).
The exhibition hosts imaging-equipment makers such as Siemens Healthineers, GE HealthCare, Philips and Canon, contrast-media companies and a large AI-vendor area. For imaging-IT, AI and medtech companies, ECR is the main European meeting point with radiology leaders.

Registration
Registration opens on 1 September 2026. Reduced fees apply if your ESR 2026 membership is active by 31 August 2026 (membership €11 a year in Europe, or a free tier). Full congress fees are typically around €500–900 (estimate).
The myESR app
The ECR and myESR app provides the programme, sessions and on-demand content. It is a clinical tool and doesn’t help vendors identify hospital buyers.
How to prospect ECR
- List exhibitors by modality and software category.
- Identify imaging-department heads and CIOs at target hospitals.
- Map AI vendors for partnerships and integrations.
- Use sessions and faculty lists to find opinion leaders.
- Coordinate with procurement for equipment sales.
Pros and cons
