MEDICA 2026 Düsseldorf: Medtech Fair Guide & Attendee List

MEDICA is the world’s largest medical-technology trade fair. More than 5,000 exhibitors from about 70 countries and around 80,000 visitors, over 70% of them international, come to Messe Düsseldorf each November (estimates). The 2026 edition runs from 16 to 19 November 2026, together with COMPAMED, the leading fair for suppliers to medical-device manufacturers.
For medtech companies looking for distributors, and for suppliers selling to device makers, MEDICA is the busiest four days of the year.

In 2026 MEDICA also introduced a new ticket structure with a Premium Ticket that includes masterclasses and selected conferences, such as the Wearable Technologies Conference Europe and the MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE.

MEDICA is always held at Messe Düsseldorf. The Messe Düsseldorf network runs related health events elsewhere, such as MEDICAL FAIR ASIA and MEDICAL FAIR INDIA. Düsseldorf hotels are busy in November.

Tickets
The 2026 structure has a standard exhibition ticket, a Premium Ticket with masterclasses and selected conferences, and individual conference tickets that include exhibition entry. Standard day tickets have historically cost around €50–90, depending on online or on-site purchase (estimate).
MEDICA app and matchmaking
The MEDICA app and online portal provide exhibitor search, matchmaking and the conference programme. Matchmaking reaches some buyers, but the huge exhibitor count means competition for attention is fierce, and there’s no export of contacts.
How to prospect MEDICA
- Decide your target: distributors, hospitals or OEMs. Each needs a different list.
- Build a distributor list by country and rank by portfolio fit.
- Use COMPAMED if you sell components or manufacturing services to device makers.
- Stand out from the many small Asian OEMs with specific, regulatory-aware outreach.
- Book meetings two to four weeks ahead.
