Routes World 2027 Barcelona: Route Development Forum Guide
By Ilyas Kerbal,

Routes World is the global route-development forum where airlines, airports and destinations plan new air services. It rotates worldwide each year: Frankfurt hosted from 21 to 23 October 2026, and the 32nd edition comes to Barcelona in October 2027 (dates and venue to be confirmed). Around 2,500–3,000 delegates attend (estimate).
Airports and tourism authorities pitch new routes to airline network planners in pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings. Barcelona hosted a record edition in 2017.
