RE+ in a nutshell

RE+ (formerly Solar Power International) brings together the whole clean-energy industry: solar modules and inverters, battery storage, EV infrastructure, microgrids, hydrogen and wind. Developers, utilities, installers and investors come for the expo and a large education program.

RE+ also runs regional events across the US and partner programs like the Clean Energy Job Fair and Agrivoltaics Showcase.

Where and when to find RE+

Las Vegas Convention Center for 2026 and 2027. Previous editions were held in Anaheim, Las Vegas and other cities.

Does it change location? Historically yes (Anaheim, Las Vegas, others); the 2026 and 2027 editions are both in Las Vegas in November.

The sales opportunity at RE+

Clean-energy buyers are spread across very different businesses: utility-scale developers, residential installers, EPCs, utilities, distributors and investors. RE+ is one of the few events where all of them are in the same place.

For suppliers and software vendors, the key is targeting the right segment. A residential installer and a utility-scale developer have nothing in common in terms of deal size or buying process. A list segmented by company type and size keeps outreach relevant and avoids wasted booth time.

Is RE+ right for your team?

Go if your buyers work in clean energy and you can identify the specific companies you want to meet. The budget holders are there; the work is in finding them among a large crowd.

Think twice if you can’t staff a booth or meeting schedule properly. Without a target list, RE+ can turn into a lot of pleasant conversations and very little pipeline.

Passes and pricing

Option Price / details
Also good to know Pass types include Expo-only and Full Conference (see ‘Explore Pass Types’ on re-plus.com)
Also good to know Expo passes are typically low cost; full conference several hundred to ~$1,000+
Typical cost Expo from ~$100-300; full conference about $1,000+.

Prices change between editions and by registration date, so treat these as a guide and check re-plus.com before you buy.

Does RE+ have an app?

Yes. The RE+ Connect app (re-plus.events/app) covers the agenda, exhibitors and networking.

From a sales point of view, the app’s main limitation is access. You see the people who chose to be visible, you can’t pull them into your CRM, and once the event ends the data usually disappears with it.

Pros and cons of RE+

Pros Cons
The clean-energy supply chain in one place Policy shifts affect industry budgets
Strong mix of developers, utilities and investors Big booths from module makers dominate
Regional events extend reach Timing moved to November, check dates carefully
Good international supplier presence

How to prospect at RE+

When What to do
2 months out Decide who you want to meet: target roles, industries, company size. Then get the list of who is actually registered.
1 month out Run a short outreach sequence (three to four touches) that leads with the event and a clear meeting ask.
Final week Send reminders, share your booth number or meeting spot, and prepare one-page briefs on your top accounts.
After the event Send personalised follow-ups within 72 hours and tag every lead with the event name in your CRM.

RE+ moved to November for 2026 and 2027. If your team still has a September slot in its event plan from older editions, update it now and push outreach timing back accordingly.

No export button in the event app? I deal with that part. Ask for the RE+ list with names, titles, companies and LinkedIn profiles in one file.
